On March 29, 2011 Patrick Hopkins won the MTNA String Division, Young Artist Competition at the National Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. MTNA reported that this the first time an Alaskan has won at the national level! Patrick is from Fairbanks and is attending the Julliard School of Music in New York City. Congratulations Partrick!
